Betaburg is a small community founded as a place for members of the server to experiment with building using blocks from Minecraft beta 1.7.3 only. The town is situated far south of spawn near the center of the southern world border. As such, the members of the town aim to position it as a restock outpost for travellers exploring beyond the world border. The location is easily accessible from spawn via an ice highway on the Nether roof. Betaburg is also home to a branch office for Derp and Derp's Lumber Yard.

The community center features a meeting area, automatic trash disposal machine, and free resources for community members to use in their builds. A new addition to the community center as of September 1 is a 15-furnace super smelter.

** One is close to the spawn point and is relatively safe, well maintained and easy to access.
