The Book Club, founded on the 27th of April 2026, by
[[Bloowulf]] and [[_Deuuce]] is a small underground society located under the Green Dragon Inn of [[New Harfell]].

Originally founded just to be study area, the Book Club, became a place of appreciation and preservation of Froobian literature created by various players across the server.

The underground "cove" is a small area comprised of a study, a pond, a reading area and a frog named Gunter.
To enter, knowledge of the secret entrance is required in Room 1 underneath the Green Dragon Inn.

*There are 9 current active members.
*_Deuuce believes there were many "book clubs" prior to this one, although many of those have been presumably lost to time.
*All the interior was created by Bloowulf and the redstone was made by [[wyretm]].
*There used to be a slime named Jubert, however he was promptly consumed and turned into a froglight by Gunter upon the latter's introduction to the cove.

_Deuuce is a veteran and active historian on Froobworld who joined in April 2025.

== Biography ==

Beggining:

After long searches for a new minecraft server, I joined in April of 2025 on map 11, 4 players were on at the time. 2 of these being BlackBirdFlyin and EuropeanBanana. I was invited to join the legacy of the Banana Empire, although shortly after the creation of Map 12, European Banana went inactive and has not been seen since.

Pre-Hype:

During this period, I became a loyalist on the server. I constantly played with the community and got to know and become friends with various people on the server. The most prominent acheivement of this period would be the creation of my 2nd base, Cave Town. During this period I found the base of the legendary Jaron_The_Great (now known as Baron_The_Marmot).

The Pre-Hype era wispered rumours of a map reset that would take place in the next month, although this occured a few months afterwards. To prepare for the map reset I finished of my builds, (to an extent) and prepared to move on.

Preceeding the Reset:

Just before the reset I met old players present at the start (or the beggining) of map 11 such as ThaTallDude. Tall showed me the history of the server and was (an amazing tour guide can't lie) for old spawn of map 11. During my tour of old spawn I saw sign walls, the most notable name on this wall was Azachy.

Usually the server in the evening (AEST) is quiet with not many on but this evening prooved otherwise. It was the final day of map 11. Many hopped on and prepared to say goodbye to the old map and hello to the new. During this time I was suprised to see the name that stood out to me at the old spawn sign walls, Azachy.

I was suprised to see an old veteran (who at the time) I knew nothing about hopping on to prepare for map 12. Azachy was excited for the map reset (like me) and had decided to hop on to witness it. He gave me a tour of his base within the final few hours of map 11 and just before the reset I asked, "Can we stick together for the new map?"

Reset:

I was on the server within the first few minutes of the new map, the server was busy but because of times zones, not full. Notable Players on at the time were (as I remembered) froobynooby, Bonaan, EvilDrBA, MarshTheMellowed, lookatminecraft, (myself), Bjuju86, Azachy, Kipln, MajorSlushie, Meekiale, Tahiti_ (sorry it was a while back if I forgot u)(there were many more).

Azachy and I, in the reset quickly set out to find a base (a village if possible), and after a while sailing and traversing the new lands we did. We setup a small spawn base (it was close to spawn) and prepared villager trading within the first few days.

The early days of the map were some of the best moments I've had on this server and some of the funnest times. This is because barley anyone had diamonds, people were trading, no shops, spawn was built (credit to MarshTheMellowed also sorry I offended your bridge on day 1).

Post Reset:

The town of DeepSculk was founded, and construction of the netherhub and the major roads began within the first 2 weeks of Map 12.

Later, the archive also known as "The Vault of Froobworld" was founded and stored the servers important books, maps and items.
