Olympus was founded after [[MangoRat_]] and [[_b3auty_]] found a beautiful mountain surrounded by a cherry grove, a river, and a snowy mountain range that would give Olympus its name. Building started on the main temple soon after Mango joined Froobworld, it's construction took around 20 shulkers of quartz blocks and multiple months. The temple became Mango's base, not becoming a town until months later.

The Sundial is a solar horoscope excavated from deep within [[The Ranch]]’s Cave District, possibly from an extinct civilization.

Although in a state of disrepair, it is believed that The Sundial once rotated in accordance with the movement of 16 constellations. These constellations are symbolized by the 16 glass discs on the flat portion of The Sundial, and are divided into three categories: Solar, Lunar, and Transitory (Equinox). Inscribed in each glass disc is a letter in the Minecraft enchanting language.

In general, the Solar constellations represent light/warm concepts, while the Lunar constellations represent the opposite. Transitory constellations act as the middle ground between Solar and Lunar constellations, and generally reflect aspects of change.

[[Spawn Town 9]] is a town where players can buy and sell goods and access warps to towns and other dimensions. This is the second [[Spawn Town | spawn town]] of [[map 11]], created after the spawn point moved for the 1.20 update. Due to concerns around lag and the fairness of player shops, the [[Spawn Town committee]] was formed to design and enforce guidelines for the new spawn town. For details on the rules they created please visit [[Spawn Town rules]].

Typing /spawn will teleport the player to the hill on Spawn Town 9. Under the hill is the portal hub where players can warp to the end or various [[towns]]. Surrounding the hill are square plots where player shops are located. Past these shops are free to use farms, just be sure to replant!

The rules and builds of Spawn Town 9 are entirely player-made, including the 8 central statues made by [[AinTheBrain]].

MangoRat1862 (Rank-Veteran) joined froobworld on March 18th 2024. They built a house in [[The Ranch]] with the former player _b3auty_ as their first house. Their mega-base, currently called “Olympus”, is under construction. Mango has a shop in the end, as well as a shop at spawn, and are trying to reconstruct the end shopping district after it's abandonment.
