== Overview ==

New Harfell is located east of spawn. It was founded by [[_A_sly_Potato_]] and [[Eclipsecats]] on June 28th 2025. It was made an official town by connecting it to spawn through nether tunnels on June 29th 2025, making it the first official town on [[Map 12]]. It sits on an island surrounded by a peninsula. New Harfell is also home to [[Map 12]]'s first shop; created by [[Threemonk]].

== Alliance ==

New Harfell is a leading town in [[Eastern_Mandate|The Eastern Mandate]] and is allied with all of the towns within it.

South of New Harfell lies a western themed town called Fox City. It is a separate state but flies the New Harfell flag.

== Name ==

The name "[[Harfell]]" was chosen by [[_A_sly_Potato|Sly]] because it was a town on [[Map 11]] that he had lived in for most of his time on FroobWorld. The name has been approved by [[Stinkerism]].

The day Map 12 was created, Sly and Eclipsecats set out to make a base together. We sailed for days, sunrise to sunset but eventually we found ourselves upon a rocky coastline. We constructed a starter mine and gathered materials such as cobbletsone, wood, and sand to make glass. Once we were done we started work on a Townhouse, the first building in the town. It sits upon the same rocky coastline we had landed on. Soon more people began to flock to the town which made it regular to see someone building or walking around on the island. In a couple weeks, New Harfell was expanded north and The Eiffel Tower and Statue of Liberty were made, making the town a popular tourist destination. For various reasons the player activity of the down began to decline, but that didn't stop the towns' expansion. In late August the Colosseum began construction- which was eventually finished in mid January. Roads, shops, farms, and even different districts began to form; making New Harfell a town with unique and a wide variety of different builds. Today, some parts of the town are the same while others have completely changed from what it was on June 28th; but the core focus of the town has always stayed the same: New Harfell is a free town with a great community where you can build whatever you would like. (within reason) Currently the active player count of the town is small, but projects and builds are still being worked on, even if it doesn't look like it on the surface...

The first notable event occured in New Harfell was a dispute between Foxfire3321 and Foxfurlife. On top of the newly contrusted Effiel tower, Foxfire and Foxfurlife were sitting in the observation platform when [[A_sly_Potato|Sly]] and [[Illumnex]] floated up on a happy ghast. Foxfire went to hop on when Foxfurlife hit him off! Foxfire gathered his loot, then went back up to face foxfurlife. Sly sealed the room in glass just as they started fighting. At this point, a few other players tped and watched along with Sly on top of the happy ghast. Foxfurlife, being the superior fighter eventually won. Leading to foxfire declaring a court hearing. In under 10 minutes, [[Map_12|Map 12's]] first courtroom was built. It sits elevated above a cliff that drops down to the bay. In a suprising turn of events, the 2 foxes claimed that Sly and [[Illumnex]] had "forced them to fight for entertainment". In the end, Foxfire3321 and Foxfurlife won the case; leading to the judge sentencing Sly and [[Illumnex]] to execution. Sly tried to run, but was chased down by [[Meekiale|Meek]] and killed.

The Colosseum is a project that was started by Sly in late August of 2025. It is a 1.1 scale replica and features numerous hallways and seating areas. Other features include (but are not limited to) an auto armor equipper, a horse elevator to bring up horses for pvp, a super smelter, a basement level with storage, and a sometimes working honeycomb farm. PVP and event gatherings are set to be hosted there throughout 2026 and beyond. state. It was completed on January 18th, 2026.

The New Harfell Shopping District is made up of 12 plots. It has strict building regulations such as a hight limit and a barrel-only policy. Shops include: Tahiti's Enchanted book & armor shop, Robot's Firework shop, warm's wood shop, a froglight shop, and Darth's seaside shop.

The New Harfell Villager Hall is located underground in the original part of town. It is accessed via bubble elevator and has librarians, farmers, fletchers, and blacksmiths to trade with. It is not furnished yet but it is still functional.

Near the shoreline of New Harfell, underground lies a small AFK stone & cobble farm. It is vaguely marked by 3 chests surrounding a birch trapdoor with a ladder underneath. Anyone is welcome to AFK there.
