The Pit

The Pit was a project led by wavestalker, who hired several players by providing tools, chests and diamonds to dig out more of a pit he had started on top of an Ender Portal.

The workers included NotNeemsInRice, Sherry_A_H, Celatra and several others who dug a round, 49-block diameter hole from the already achieved y=17 down to bedrock. One height level comprising 1885 blocks led to over 145k Blocks being removed in total with the help of a beacon. On average ca 36K blocks or 20 Skulker boxes were removed from The Pit per day.

The collaborative digging began on the 22nd of May 2023 and finished on the 25th of May 2023.
