Map 3 is a retired map that was a successor to map 2, and a predecessor of map 4. No copies of the map are known to exist.
History
Map 3 was created in January 2012 for the release of Minecraft 1.1. The map was reset a couple of months later for the release of Minecraft 1.2, making it one of the shortest lived maps.
For this map, the server used the Stargate plugin to allow players to teleport between towns. Stargates were nether portals with signs on them that allowed them to be redirected to other stargate portals around the world.
