Old Town was a player-made town on map 8 that was notable for its detailed lore and the many events and dramas that centred around it. It was one of the most succesful towns that proceeded on the Map having residents that still play the server to this day such as sopherdopher and TheChief13.

Old Town was classified as having a "hostile but friendly" environment due to the fact PvP was active in the area 100% of the time but at the same time the town had its own law systems in place alongside ranks that held authority and their own economy.
The way some of these laws were enforced were specific. For example, ownership of plots came with guidelines such as that plots could only be 12x12 and had to maintain a strict 2 floor policy to encourage the "small town" feel of the community.
