Cherno is a minor town located in a swamp south of spawn, founded by Draghtnim.
Overview
Cherno, originally refered to simply as "The Slum", is a minor nation built in the swamp south of spawn, it contains various landmarks such as "Four Eyed Fih" tavern and "The Pit".
Cherno's theming centers around shoddily built structures of slum like nature, showcasing the general chaos of its populus.
Cherno's biggest and only commercial export is potions brewed and sold by Blitz_Mist.

History
Founding
The First sign of Cherno on the map appeared on 11 July 2026 when Draghtnim built a modified Witch hut outside BreezyThatPhish's claim, although the true founding of Cherno can be pinned down to 15 July 2026 when Blitz_Mist and ItsToadXD joined the town.
Following the new arrivals Cherno was rapidly expanded, as Blitz_Mist constructed his house, alongside the construction of "Community Temporary Housing Units". It was also at that time that Cherno gained many other community oriented amenities, such as the Community Smeltery, community Meat Smoker and the blacksmithing station
Solidification of nationality
Following the rapid developments of the area, such as construction of the "Four Eyed Fih" tavern, as well as the creation of the western section of cherno, and the general bonding of Citizens, it was decided that simply calling the area "The Slum" was no longer sufficient. After Blitz_Mist's suggestion and a short debate among and the citizens, it was agreed upon to name the area "Cherno". Establishing of the name was followed by the construction of the welcome sign next to cherno's dock.
On 19 September 2026 Draghtnim Presented a prototypical design of Cherno's flag, which was accepted by the citizens and adopted as the symbol of the nation.
Following the proper establishing of Cherno as a nation the focus shifted onto a more militarized path, with the fortification of the Breezy-Chernian border and investment in foreign military technology such as the Amethyst Powered Multiprojectile Railgun (AP-MR), Amethyst Propelled General Purpose Aircraft (AP/GPA) "Skipper" And the Multi-Vibration Rocket Propelled Explosive Projectiles (Mv-RPEP)
The split
After further development of the Western region of Cherno organized by Blitz_Mist, and its drastically different style, it became quite obvious that the two section started to split in ideology; due to this fact, a border control checkpoint was established on the connecting section of the bridge. This can be marked as the beginning of separation into West and East Cherno.
The differences in culture between the 2 sections of the nation had become more and more apparent, with East Cherno hosting the original, community focused ideology, while West Cherno adapted a more individualistic and capitalist system. This rapidly growing gap between the two sides eventually resulted in East Cherno's attempt to militarily reintegrate the Western side in the Chernian Civil Offensive, as a part of the Chernian Civil War. The military actions of the East also gave birth to CherNews, a propaganda outlet controlled by the West side, which reported on the events leading up to the conflict, Painting West in a favorable light.
Following the failure of the Offensive a peace deal was struck between the two sides, which obligated East Cherno to follow the practices of the Western side. The verbal agreement however only lead to the 4-Day False Peace, during which a monument honoring the reconnection between the two sides was constructed next to the border wall. Despite the agreement, the tensions between the 2 sides continued to rise, Culminating in the Chernian Leader's Duel. While no official agreement was made between both of the sides following the duel, the damage the conflict inflicted upon the nation has become apparent, and thus both East and West Cherno surrended their arms independently, putting an end to The Split.

Vestiges of a long gone past, Prypia is believed to be the place ancient Chernians used to live before unclear circumstances forced the population to move. Lately, citizens of West Cherno have started to reclaim part of these forlorn lands.

Location: West (Big Bertha), East (Bigger Bertha).
Founders: probably Blitz_Mist and Draghtnim (respectively)
The two Berthas are cannons built during the war between the East and the West. After the war ended, it was debated whether they should be removed and placed somewhere else for safe keeping. This debate however was short-lived and settled immediately thanks to the power of gay.
