The Island Nation of Eridani is a moderate-sized island in the western Froobian ocean, west of Spawn. It features a mix of residential builds, shopping, and automated industrial processing (and farming).
Eridani is a multi-themed nation in Froobworld (Map 12), mostly aimed at welcoming in Froobworld players who wish to build their own homes or to set up their own shops. Residents are given an area of 40x40 blocks in area to build a home. They also enjoy free access to the Eridani Community Hall, which includes an XP generator and many free items generated by the automatic farms.
Founded by RobotSausage on June 28, 2025 and managed by kittywiz33, Eridani is a shield volcano, not unike the mythical island of Hawaii. It has a very notable bridge linking it to the Isle Of Roses, east of Eridani.

History
Ancient Times
The Island Nation of Eridani is built on a dormant shield volcano. The ancients who first inhabited the island built a vast mining operation within the crater of the volcano, where they not only mined out a large area of the island’s interior, but also uncovered a few horrors that may have eventually resulted in their demise.
The Bay of Eridani
The Bay of Eridani is located along the north coast of the island. It is believed to be an ancient impact crater. What lies below the surface of the water in the bay are strange water-breathing creatures. Some of them are armed with green, three-pronged spears, and they attack anyone they see.
The Mines
Throughout the underbelly of the island, lies a network of mines and caves. Some of the Ancients had discovered something they referred to as a trial chamber somewhere within the cave network. Archaeologists believe this chamber may have led to the demise of the Ancients.
Modern Day
On June 28, 2025 14:26:47 UTC, as revealed by the mystics (deputy staff), RobotSausage landed at the uninhabited island, disembarked from his birch wood boat, and broke a block of coal ore. Thus began the process of claiming the island. While hastily setting up a makeshift shelter, RobotSausage was joined by Bmoneyyyy to shelter in place during the dark, unsafe nights. The original window she created and installed in the shack can still be seen and will be preserved in a museum in place of the shack.
The Nether Portal
Under the Welcome Circle is the Nether portal, which leads to the western ice highway to the Nether Hub at spawn.
Overworld Ice Highway
The term “overworld” is a bit of a misnomer but is accurate in terms of the world realms. Between the interior of the volcanic crater and spawn lies a speedy ice boat highway that quickly ferries people from one side to the other.
Shopping
To the northwest of the island lies a number of pre-built buildings where residents of Froobworld can set up a shop to sell their wares. Spaces are available if someone wishes to build their own shop as well, as exemplified by Robots Randoms, sci300768’s shop, kittywiz33’s custom armour shop, and the Eridani General Store.
Residential
At the heart of the island lies the residential area of Eridani. Various homes can be found here. Residents have access to the Eridani Community Hall. Free cooked chicken can be found in copper chests for all to enjoy, as it is illegal to be hungry at Eridani.
Industrial/Farming
The anchor of the industrial and farming area is the Eridani Community Hall. All of the farms on the island are fed into a series of water conveyors and elevators to a mass storage system, which looms large within its walls. A blast furnace/furnace/smoker array is perpetually fuelled by kelp blocks, which are produced via a furnace array that is self-powered by kelp from the kelp farm. Rounding out the automatic farms are the chicken farm, carrot/potato farm (which can be switched to a bone block farm), bamboo farm, sugarcane farm, iron farm, wool farm, slime farm, glow squid farm, and melon/pumpkin farm. High above the Bay Of Eridani, a drown farm can be seen hanging freely in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't. To the northwest looms a gunpowder farm and a mysterious, seemingly pointless glassed in area in the ocean that appears to be sucking things up out of the water. Outside of the drown and gunpowder farms, residents have access to most of what is generated by the island farms.
The Bridge
Connecting the shopping area of Eridani to the neighbouring beautiful Isle Of Roses is a massive, majestic bridge, constructed by kittywiz33.
Projects
Argyle Island
While unclear as to what is being built there, an artificial island named Argyle Island has appeared to the southeast of Eridani, with a bridge leading to it from the residential area.
The Church
Seemingly unfinished, and potentially due for a tear down and rebuild, lies a white church. It is found in the southeast of the shopping area.
Controversy
One of the early residents who joined Eridani was sci300768. A self-described unskilled builder, sci assembled their store/residence using whatever materials they had available. When the area was rezoned to be strictly residential, they did not remove the building, but instead moved their shop to be near the Eridani General Store and declared the building as their residence. The town council has threatened to condemn the building many times due to it being an eyesore, but sci has always succeeded in dodging the laws.
